Singapore University Games 2007
7th September 2007, Bukit Batok CSC, One-Day Event, Blue Polo-Tee...Once again, its our annual Singapore University Games 2007. This year's tournament format about the same just that they had a team event instead of the selfish singles...oooppss..
Anyway, this year we had one of the toughest competition inter-universitically. Stars-studded teams blazed the lanes of Bukit Batok CSC on the 7th September 2007.We had a slow start (Uncle Adam said) and wasted some chances to be on the podium. SIM dominated in the doubles event as well as the singles...Going into the 2nd block of games, having the mee goreng n fried rice n bee hoon, they proved to be effective as our guys got back to our winning ways wif guys being 2nd for team n girls securing a silver n bronze in the quartets. Lionel chionged back to capture the bronze medal in the singles event!!! Ho seh la!!! It was a good outing n we were determined not to reproduce the results last year with the ahem, suay tee-shirt. Many thanks to the entire team who made it all possible! Let us train hard n *piak*(slapz) the other teams in upcoming events!Labels: Yao Hui
